So Christmas is around the corner and you need to buy a present for your co-worker for the secret Santa tradition that has been in your workplace for centuries (apparently!). You can't break the tradition and be that one person who is not a team player, although it might be very tempting to simply go buy a $2 mug from the dollar store up the road please don't, I am sure even though it is supposed to be a "secret" your co-workers will look for you and they will find you (In Liam Neeson, Taken voice).
